A photograph is, traditionally, a flat plane (paper, metal, plastic) that has been coated with emulsion or light sensitive salts; reactive to the fluctuation of light and chemicals. These are the essential attributes of a photograph - physical and chemical materials limited by language. By considering these properties Eidos Semblance calls attention to the materiality, presence and singularity of the photographic object.
